[7.0.1.beta3] Closing the leftmost tab scrolls the tab list to the right
Hi all,
I have to admit I'm a tab hoarder and this had led me to encounter the following behaviour. To reproduce:
1. Have many tabs open, so that the tab list becomes scrollable
2. Open the rightmost tab.
3. Scroll the tab list to the left and close the leftmost tab by clicking the x button or middle-clicking it.
Result: The tab list jumps back to the right, so the active tab is in view.
I personally would expect the tab list to stay in the previous scroll position - that's also the way it works in Firefox. This is practical, because it allows quickly closing several older tabs.
