How to connect Z7 to LO?

Hello,
I am using LO Writer 24 on Fedora Linux 40. Zotero has upgraded itself to 7, but when I try to call it from Writer it crashes. When I try to install the plugin from Zotero (Tools>plugins) I get a call to the website (https://www.zotero.org/support/plugins) to download the xpi file
https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u5065827/u5jxw77b81j2bq5e2fyb.png
but there is no file.
Where can I download the correct xpi for Z7?
Thank you.
  • You don't need to install anything there. The word processor plugins are bundled with Zotero and don't show up there anymore.

If you're using the Flatpak version of Zotero, you'll need to report this to the maintainers of the Flatpak. We have nothing to do with that.

Possibly the same as this: https://github.com/flathub/org.zotero.Zotero/issues/207

  • I see, this is a common problem. So there is no xpi I can download directly? I reinstalled Zotero and even in this case, the plugin is reported as a link to the website. Thanks
  • PS: I installed Zotero with Flatpak from Fedora software center
  • Again, this is a bug in the Flatpak version. You need to report it to them. I don't know what you mean by "the plugin is reported as a link to the website", but there's nothing to install here.
  • To be clear, nothing related to LibreOffice is supposed to show up in the Tools → Plugins window. That's totally irrelevant in Zotero 7.
  • I am reporting the issue to flatpak, thanks for the quick answer
