zotero 7 did not show the annotation search icon

I noticed that Zotero 7 did not show the annotation search icon 'A' on 14th, Aug, 2024. I remembered several days ago it is there.

Not sure what you are talking about. Could you share a screenshot of where this search icon is supposed to be?

Thank you for your reply. Please see the screenshot below, I remembered there was a symbol "A" in the place where the arrow pointed for searching for annotations.

You're either misremembering or thinking of something in a plugin.

In Zotero itself, you can search for annotation comments and tags and it will match the parent attachment in the items list. Annotations themselves don't currently show in the items list directly, but that's planned.
