Upgrade StorageDatabase compatibility
Apologies in advance if this is a newbie question.
I'm running version 6.0.26 and want to upgrade to version 7. However, 6.0.26 was installed via flatpak and fixing it to do an automatic upgrade is a nightmare. Could I make a fresh install from the tarball (or from the zotero-deb wrapper) and then substitute a backup of my "old" database for the empty database of the fresh install?
If not, are there any alternatives? (I'd hate losing my collections, as you may understand)

dstillman Zotero TeamI don't know how the Flatpak is set up, but generally your Zotero data directory is totally separate from the application directory. You can switch back and forth between Zotero 6 and 7 with the same data directory.
