    If you go to Tools → Developer → Run JavaScript and run the code below, what's the result?

    Zotero.ItemTypes.getName(27)

    OK, sorry, this is a bug in 7.0.1-beta.1 when "Enable bidirectional text editing utilities" is enabled in the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings. (It's off by default.)

    We'll have 7.0.1-beta-2 out shortly with a fix.
