Highlights not showing

I have been using the online version of Zotero, not the app, and even though I have highlighted something previously in a document in zotero, with it showing in the side bar, it does not show the highlights in the actual document. As well, I should note that I can see the highlights on my laptop but not my desktop computer. I have attempted restarting the desktop, re-logging in to Zotero and even clearing cookies for the website.
How do I fix this?
  • I'm not clear whether you're saying the problem is in the online version or in the app. Can you be more specific?

    Are you seeing this with any PDF, or only a specific PDF? If a specific PDF, what's the zotero.org URL after selecting the parent item?

    If all PDFs, does it happen if you disable all browser extensions?

    What browser? Have you tried other browsers?
