Upgrade Storagezotero 7 File Renaming et al (zotfile)

Up until zotero 6 I had a very simple renaming scheme implemented with zotfile: it would write the names of the authors separated by commas if they were less than five. For 5 or more authors, it would write the name of the first author, followed by et al. I cannot, for the life of me, get zotero 7 to give me the number of authors to use in the template. len(authors) etc. does not work. Any idea how this can be done ?
I am guessing zotero 7 does not automatically move the linked files to a common directory ? I'm slowly exploring its features, so I thought I'd ask to make sure as a lot of work seems to have gone into this version!
