[Z7] Whole page turned into an annotation

Hi,
I opened a PDF from my library today to notice something curious; some of the annotations now seem to span the whole page. I do not really know how that happened - at some point in the past, I must've imported PDF annotations and it might've happened already back then; I don't remember seeing those annotations though. It's not a big problem and I'm not 100% sure it's caused by Zotero (so I'm afraid this report might not be very helpful), but I thought I'd report this here just in case.

Does new annotation creation on that page work normally?

No, because even when an annotation tool is selected, clicking somewhere onto the page always selects the already existing whole-page annotation.

What if you press Alt to select text behind an annotation?
