including subcollections when filtering collections?

I have some nested collections. For example
```
Computer Science
Therarc25
```

and I really like the "collections filtering" feature. For example:

But when filtering on "computer science" rather than "ther" I see this:

This is sometimes desirable, but I'd like to occasionally (or even by default) show subcollections when a top level collection is shown.

Is this possible? If not, would it make sense as a feature request?
  • For what it's worth, you can press Return/Enter to focus the first result, use the up/down arrow keys to jump between matches, press Esc to clear the search, and press right-arrow if necessary to expand the collection you're on (or + to expand all collections). So if it's just about getting to a subcollection from the search bar, you can already do that quickly.

    If you're saying you might have multiple matches and want to be able to see subcollections to know if it's the one you're looking for, I could see wanting to see subcollections. We could consider showing those for additional context, but for a collection with many descendant subcollections it runs the risk of pushing other matches off the screen.
  • I use subcollection in perhaps an idiosyncratic way. Here is an example:

    if I can't remember what say 'the human diver' is, but I know its under safety, it would be nice to see it when searching for 'safety'.

    The problem with 'esc' to clear search is that it then no filters to just those shown above. You get the problem of needing to search again (and AFAICT searching subcollections has no keyboard shortcut)
