just upgraded to 2.0 and will not launch Zotero library

The icon seems to have installed, but when I press it, it says to restart firefox. Then when I try to restart FF, I get the message, "this is a serious upgrade..." When I click "next," it says my library has an error and that it will launch the error fix tool, then the FF browser launches, but no fix tool. I am unable to open my Zotero library. I have my 1.0 libraries backed up, but can't get into the 2.0.

I am the same dude with the dissertation due in 8 days. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks, Porreesteiner - your suggestion worked for me when I upgraded and couldn't open the Zotero window even though the name showed in the bottom right-hand corner. Disabling other Firefox extensions (in Ubuntu, FF 3.5.8) cured the problem. Not worked out exactly which extension caused the problem yet (I've restored some without problems), but I've got my data back from the Zotero server and can add new items.
