Zotero is not responding
I need help. My Zotero is not responding. When I open the application, the blue circle spools and spools and it never unfreezes. I usually close the application and open it again and when I click on anything in the application it stops responding. The screen is blank, and I cannot see any of my libraries or any articles.

Has Zotero worked before on this computer? What happened since the last time it worked?
Have you changed where the Zotero data directory is located?
Trying holding down Option (Mac) or Shift (Windows) at Zotero startup to launch it in Troubleshooting Mode and see if that helps.

I changed the data directory after the software stopped responding. It has been two weeks that the software has been spooling and not responding.
