Zotero 7: customize template for underline annotations
I really appreciate that we can convert highlights into underlines and vice versa (see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/449387). It has helped a lot!
I understand there are numerous annotation management plugins for Zotero, but my favorite one is Zotero itself. I use "Settings -> Advanced -> Config Editor" and search for:
```
extensions.zotero.annotations.noteTemplates.highlight
extensions.zotero.annotations.noteTemplates.note
```
to customize my own annotation format (see https://www.zotero.org/support/note_templates). Then I paste my annotations into a Word document. It is simple and effective.
The trouble is, currently, we cannot customize underlines. The default format for underlines does not include a backlink, which makes it difficult to trace back to the original paper. Therefore, I hope you can add a
```
extensions.zotero.annotations.noteTemplates.underline
```
or make it uniform with the customized highlight format.
Thank you very much.
