Disappearing Collection

One collection in my library keeps disappearing. I was able to restore it the first few times by going through the automatic backup process, but now it doesn't reappear when I reopen Zotero. I haven't lost the items, but I am not really able to rebuild the collection from memory.
Could it be the title of the collection? Any ideas?

    If you deleted a collection and then restored from a backup, you have to actually complete the documented steps to make a copy of the collection. Otherwise it will just disappear again the next time you sync as it applies the previous deletion.

    (Zotero 7 will make it possible to restore a deleted collection from the trash.)
