Files not syncing on iPad despite showing on Zotero web library

Hello! I'm having issues syncing my Zotero library that originates from my Macbook to my iPad. I've tried relogging into Zotero on my iPad, manual syncing multiple times by dragging down the screen (a loading cog shows and disappears), and re-installing Zotero. I've tried to troubleshoot based on a few existing forum posts and https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing but they didn't work.

My entries that aren't syncing on my iPad do show up in my Zotero web library, so I assume it's an issue on my iPad. I have not received any sync error notifications either.

Update: it took a long time but somehow it worked, I think it was just a long wait :)
