Link attachments field not part of CSV export when exported from Zotero web

edited July 29, 2024
I found that whenever I export items from the web library to CSV, the "link attachments" field of the items is empty.
If I do the same export from the Zotero desktop application (v6.0.36) the field is filled with a semicolon separated list with the URLs of the attachments, i.e. it works as expected.

In my working environment it's not always easy to convince people to install software, they web library is an accessible way to interact with Zotero in those cases. However, specifically the link attachments field and the CSV export is a feature that people tend to use and now it appears broken.
Is there any way fix this export in the web library?
  • No, that's currently not possible; export output is more limited in the web library.

I've updated the list of features that the Zotero desktop app provides when compared to the web library to reflect that.
