Italic for Vancouver

Hi! I would like to adjust Vancouver style in order to get et al after 6 authors and journal name in italics. Can you help me?

Issue 1:
The style already does that. See line 348 where the et-al settings are set.
Issue 2:
In line 127, add font-style="italic".
Please read this first and make the adjustments to ID, self link etc. as outlined in order for your new custom style not to be overwritten:
