[Help] Library flickers and disappears on startup

Zotero 7.0.0-beta.101+220bb4383 (64-bit) on Linux. When I launch zotero, the items are briefly shown before they disappear and my library view appears empty (although in side panel number of items is shown).

I grabbed a video (here: https://i.imgur.com/KD2neFr.mp4)

Only thing I changed was re-install Linux, but I kept my /home partition which has my zotero folder and can't think of how that would change things.

I had a couple tabs open and I can view the .pdfs alright.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer (and you should let us know here).

ok,from the plugin's issue,by updating it to recent version to resolve the disappear

Plugins should update automatically, though. Was your version not being updated?

yes,i usually update from github，but the author‘s releaese still remain in old version, i always thought the version hadn't changed.
^^,but,I have turned on the plugin update that comes with zotero

You are all correct, I should have checked whether it was the plugin I use (ethereal style) that was causing the issue. It was the plugin, I updated it, now using zotero through flathub & everything works.

It would be cool if - at least the coloring capabilities (background, annotations) - where part of zotero itself, but I'm very satisfied at any rate!
