Display problems after selecting Display under View in the Menu

Hi,

Sometimes the content of View menu disappears when I try to select how Zotero displays records :

Zotero then stops responding. If hidden, the Finder's dock remains hidden.
I'm using Zotero 6.0.37 on MacOS 14.5.
