Feature suggestion - Highlight annotations should scroll together with page scroll

Is it possible to make the annotations on the left side bar scroll in sync with the page scrolling. I can see that if you click on annotation it surfaces the page and vice versa. This feels like a very logical feature to have. When looking at a page it is much more useful to show the annotations that are there on that page, if any, or upcoming pages.
