Position of citation when switching styles

edited July 16, 2024
When switching between, for example, author-date and superscript style, the correct position should be

- author-date: This is true (Author, year). This is false (Author, year).
- superscript: This is true.^1 This is false.^2

The citations move between before and after the period.

What is the way automatic way to handle this?

Thanks,
