Problems upgrading Zotero

I can't open Zotero - I keep getting the following message:

'Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Zotero. Do you want to reboot now?'

I have tried to uninstall but get the same message.

I have tried to download again hoping that it would upgrade but also get the same message after a few steps.

I have tried to reboot several times after these messages but to no avail.

Any help much appreciated!
  • You can just delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero and reinstall from the download page. Your data won't be affected.
