Storing attachments only in Zotero Storage

I recall hearing it mentioned that Z7 will allow you to flag some database elements to live only on Zotero Storage--not on your own hard drive. But I can't find where I've seen it or how to activate it. How does it work?

    No, you're misremembering.
    There is a planned feature that dstillman has mentioned a couple of time that will include an option to auto-delete local files in storage if they're synced after X days (or so), but that doesn't currently exist.
    I assume you're familiar with download as needed (Sync settings), which has been around for a long time.
