New Zotero User Formatting Questions

I've just begun using Zotero for citations and while I typically use Ecology style citations, I'm taking a course that requires Chicago style. Some of the docs I'm utilizing don't have associated metadata, and I want to edit it in Zotero so I can seamlessly apply them in Word, but I'm not sure how. Do you edit with html?
