I have been experiencing an issue with some PDFs which have bookmarked outlines/Table of Contents. These are complete books downloaded directly from Springer publishing (not OCR) and the bookmarked table of contents navigates to the section headers when clicked in PDF readers like Adobe, Foxit, and PDF XChange.

However, these PDF section links do not function when opened in Firefox or Zotero. The TOC displays, but clicking on the elements does nothing.

I opened the error console in Zotero. When these links are clicked, the following error is shown:

goToDestination: "null" is not a valid destination array, for dest="subsection.19.2.2.4". 5 viewer.mjs:5560:15
goToDestination resource://zotero/reader/pdf/web/viewer.mjs:5560

Steps to Reproduce
============

1. Load PDF into a new parent item.
2. Open the PDF Viewer and Outline Tab.
3. Click on the bookmarks. No navigation occurs.

Thanks for the file. That seems to be a PDF.js regression. We have reported it to them. You can remove the file now.
