I recently moved files for a book project into Zotero. Prior, I just kept microsoft file on a given book, which created kind of an organizational/bibliographic nightmare. Zotero has been a revelation, so thank you for this excellent tool! So question: I just moved my microsoft files into zotero and made them equivalent to child notes for my references. Is it better to abandon the msword files entirely and cut and paste all my notes into Zotero child notes? I suppose by maintaining msword files as child notes, I lose search and tagging functionality.
