Not being able to save an article with the zotero connector

Hi,
wI am trying to save this article - https://muse-jhu-edu.proxy1.library.virginia.edu/article/631483/pdf and even though I get the right icon, the article is then not found in any of my Zotero folders. I tried different folders, reinstalling Zotero connector/restarting Zotero, and nothing changes. What can I do?
Report ID is 1932596637.
  • What exactly happens when you try to save?

Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector (rather than Zotero) for reloading the page and trying to save?
  • I get the little pop-up window asking me to choose a folder to save the file, but then nothing happens. Debug ID is D1548919275.
  • That doesn't show you actually reloading the page and trying to save.
  • I tried it again with this Debug ID - D1800842502. Can you see it now?

(3)(+0000004): progressWindow.show message received in injected page https://muse-jhu-edu.proxy1.[…]/article/631483/pdf

Does it work if you save from the article page rather than from the PDF? I don't have access to Project MUSE at the moment, and it works for me from the gated version of that URL, but if you're seeing some sort of custom PDF reader, that could easily not work. You should always try to save from the main article page.
  • Ah, actually I do have access, and that's just a direct PDF link, but our Project MUSE translator is still detecting on that URL but not working. So yeah, you should save from the article page instead. We'll see if we can support translator-based saving from the PDF URL, and if we can't we'll disable detection on that URL.
