Abstract of paper coming up in in-text citations in word
I have got a word document (on a windows PC) which has a large number of references in (around 80).
I have two problems:
1) In the main body of text where my in-text citations are - I have a message that says "Automatic citation updates are disabled. To see the bibliography, click Refresh in the Zotero tab. ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION" and then provides the title, URL and abstract of each of the paper I have referenced.
I have gone into my Zotero app installed on my computer and refreshed it and nothing has changed.
2) The bibliography still contains references which have been deleted in the in-text citations, so really shouldn't show up.
I am not very tech savvy but have made sure I am working on the updated version of Zotero and have refreshed it in the Zotero app, as well as in Word. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

dstillman"Automatically update citations" in the plugin's Document Preferences window. If this is a large document, that's what you want. This would just be your Word showing field codes. This would happen if you didn't delete all instances of an item or didn't delete the citations completely, or it could mean that citations in your document were flattened. If you add a new citation, is it added to the bibliography? That means what it says you — you've disabled
