Annotations on iPad

Hi, I recently learned that Zotero has an app for iPad. Great! I downloaded it, and now have access to my library. When I open a PDF, I see a very promising menu of annotation features appear on the left. However, when I try to highlight text using my finger, nothing happens. I use PDF Expert usually, and have no trouble. Am I doing something wrong? When I hit the text box feature, same thing: nada. Do I need to use this with an Apple pen or something? Not sure I can use this thing if I can't annotate. Thanks in advance!

    Hello @Brownels, it should work fine with just your finger.
    Can you please check
    Settings.app > Apple Pencil > Only Draw with Apple Pencil?
    If it is on, toggle it off, terminate the Zotero.app, launch it, and try again.

    If that is not your case, can you please send a debug log while you try to annotate (post its identifier here), or even a video recording of your screen (send it to support@zotero.org and mention this thread).
