[Z7 Beta] Unexpected newlines in SEP Snapshot annotations

While working with a Snapshot of this page (https://plato.stanford.edu/archives/spr2019/entries/frantz-fanon/), imported via the Connector, I've noticed that highlighting leads to some strange line breaks in annotations:

The problem doesn't seem to affect only SEP entries (even though that's where I see it most often). I've also noticed unwanted newlines in a snapshot of this page http://www.hermann-giesecke.de/werke9.htm#69.
