[beta] Zotero consuming 1GB of RAM
Currently using Zotero 7.0.0-beta (native Apple Silicon) on an M3 MacBook.
Activity Monitor shows Zotero consistently consuming 600MB - 1.5GB of RAM when open in the background.
Because the Chrome extension to save articles doesn't work if Zotero isn't open in the background, this seems like a bit of a problem.
I don't remember the non-beta version consuming this much RAM (my memory is a consistent ~400MB?).
Opening articles on Zotero makes the memory consumed shoot up and seemingly stay up, even when not looking at the article. Is there a "memory saver" feature s.t. only the article one is looking at stays in RAM?

jeremyvancleveI'm not sure how it compares to previous Zotero versions, but keeping open multiple PDFs is always a RAM demanding activity. macOS Preview also consumes a ton of RAM when many PDFs are open.
