Zotero docs plugin PERMISSION_DENIED

My Zotero Google Docs plugin suddenly stopped working. I've used Zotero on the document for a few weeks, but now I can't open the Zotero menu or insert citations. I've seen trouble-shooting for this issue on your website, but so far nothing has worked. I have tried restarting, and reinstalling. I have also checked that the Chrome plugin has access to all sites. I can open the Zotero menu through the "see add-ons in the document", but if I try to update citations from there, I get an error message saying that there was a server issue and get the error code: PERMISSION_DENIED. I am logged into the right google account, and I even got an Email from google after reinstalling the add-on, that informed me that Zotero had gotten access to my document.
What else can I try?

Submit a Report ID from Zotero Connector. Then restart your browser, and when prompted to authenticate with Google Docs when using the Zotero plugin, make sure you select the account which has access/owns the document you are working on.
