Drag and Drop of Articles to Win11 Client not Working!

I have been using Zotero for about 7 years. My environment is the Windows 11 platform. Lately, I can not drag and drop PDF articles from the Windows File Explorer to the Zotero client. Also, when attempting to load an article to the client from a browser, the pdf document will not load. the only way I can get documents into the win11 client is by adding a new item, and then adding an attachment URL link.

How do I reset the win11 client to allow me to drag and drop? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the win11 Zotero client two times to fix this issue.

    One of your groups is a public open group, which doesn't allow files. If that's where you're trying to add files, that's not going to work.

    Thank you for the comment. Your input was exactly correct. I was trying to save my pdf top the Group Library, when I saved the pdf to the "My Library" tree, the drag and drop operation worked perfectly.
