[Zotero 7 Beta] Style Preview does not show the added styles

The Style Preview window does not show the styles that I have added manually.

Debug ID: D1504224537
Zotero 7.0.0-beta.84+71f83c0a3 (64-bit)
Windows 10

I see this error when opening the "Cite" section of the Settings:
[JavaScript Error: "document.l10n.translateFragment() failed -- invalid data-l10n-id in pane 'zotero-prefpane-cite'?" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/preferences/preferences.js" line: 308}]

    Those are just dependent styles — if you click the "Source" link on the Styles page you can see that they're just pointers to American Physics Society.

    This is a common source of confusion, though, so we should communicate this in some way in the style preview and editor.
    I see this error when opening the "Cite" section of the Settings:
    That's the empty -/+ buttons and has been fixed for the next beta.
  • (The Style Preview should probably just show dependent styles. The Style Editor is trickier — it maybe needs to disable the UI and show a message identifying the main style.)
  • Thank you.
    I understand that the dependent styles cannot be directly edited in the Style Editor.
    But I am using the Style Preview just to see what the citations will look like. Would it still be possible to display the citation format for dependent styles?
  • Yes, see above.
  • Dependent styles are shown in Style Preview in beta 85
