APA 7th edition citation

I am facing a problem with text citation
in the Arabic Language
the brackets are on opposite sides )(
and
the, is not the Arabic commer
Do you know if there is a solution?

    unfortunatly, this is an old problem in Zotero with RtL Languges.
    the software developers unwilling to solve it, or even reply to a question asking for a sulution!

    Are you referring to https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/67526/parenthesis-in-arabic-citations-are-inversed ? Maybe it was overlooked, I don't think the developers or other people were actually unwilling to respond.
    However, there are indeed some technical problems that may or may not be resolved regarding RTL writing systems. Perhaps this is an opportunity to revive the old conversation.

    @adamsmith Ideally, this would be handled automatically by the citation processor, but in absence of that, I think we could add RTL versions of APA and Chicago author-date with the brackets reversed. What do you think?
