iPad links do not open in default browser

My default browser is Brave, but when I try to open a link from Zotero it always opens in Safari. Is there a way to change that?

    I also have Brave set as my default browser on my iPad and links from Zotero do open in Brave.

    Zotero version: 1.0.38 Build 276
    iPadOS version: 17.5.1

    @ambimorph can you specify which link do you mean? I noticed that in item detail it doesn't open in default browser, but PDF links do. If you found another link which doesn't open properly let me know.

    I mean the link icon in the item list when there is no pdf and no snapshot, just a url, like this.
