Saved citations are not in my library

Hi,

This is my first time using Zotero. I click on the address bar icon and the message box says it is saving the article. Then when I check "My Library" it says there are no items. This is also true when I go to Settings and look at the Storage tab. There is not storage space being used, so no items. Another thread referred to selecting the folder to save to. Is that a step I need to do? If so, how?

I appreciate your help!

    Hi. It sounds like you are saving your items to the Zotero addon, but not syncing them with your online account (that is what you would see on the "My Library" tab on this website. You need to enter your account login info in the Zotero addon preferences.

    Edit: By the way, try opening the Zotero pane by clicking the Zotero icon on your status bar or toolbar, or going through tools->Zotero, and you should see your saved items there.
