I want to sync my iPad with my computer on Zotero, but it fails when authenticating to the server.
Authentication succeeds on the iPad, but the computer syncs with an error message: WebDAV authentication failed. Check the file sync settings in the Synchronization tab in Zotero preferences. In the settings, an error message is displayed when authenticating to the server.

dstillmanedited June 6, 2024First, that's not "the server" — that's your WebDAV server. You entered the URL, username, or password wrong. Note that you were getting this as well, which could happen if you included a space or other invalid character in the WebDAV URL. But you might have already resolved that if you're no longer seeing this message.
