Also, I posted another thread because I posted this thread from the Zotero app (from my iPhone) and didn’t see that it got posted (which made me believe it was related to the issue I am reporting).
Thanks for your help @robertludwick. Could you please go to Zotero app on your iOS device and open Settings -> Debug Output Logging and choose "Export Database File" and send us this export to zotero@support.org ? If it's too big, please upload it somewhere and just send us a link. Thanks!
@robertludwick I checked the data you sent us. Can you open Zotero on your iOS device and try to search for "VTZS5KE2"? Then open this item and it should show 2 notes, which should be identical. Try removing one of those notes and try syncing again. That should actually solve your issue.
I've added a fix to the app so that this shouldn't happen anymore, but at least you can fix your issue immediately.
