Zotero 7 Safari extension not working

I am using Zotero 7 7.0.0-beta.81+721f54fe4 and Safari Version 17.5 (19618.2.12.11.6) and the connector doesn't work. When I enable it, it kind of 'flickers' in the Toolbar, but does not stay visible. Report ID 2093705624.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and the problem persists.
Any suggestions?
