Syncing Issues
My team has a group Zotero folder where we all input our references into. For some reason, this group folder seems to not sync properly between my desktop Zotero and my online Zotero accounts. What is bizarre about this is that on my desktop Zotero, I have 2329 items in the group folder and online I have 2328 items, but the individual folders under the group folder have different numbers of references between my desktop and online Zotero accounts. I would like to ask how to deal with this and how to properly sync these so the desktop and online Zotero accounts have the same number of references in all folders. Thank you!

dstillmanedited May 23, 2024Depending on your collection hierarchy, you'd see different numbers if you have View → Show Items from Subcollections enabled in the desktop app. That's not currently supported online.
