Style Issue: Sorting of Authors isn't according to code

Hi all,
I recently downloaded the West European Politics style, and the Word Add-In updates almost everything I need. Unfortunately, it still sorts the authors in the text with years of publication, not alphabetically, even though the code seems to be correct and the exemplary sorting is alphabetically, as well.
I don't know what I can do, does anybody have an idea? Thanks in advance.

No, the style doesn't sort the in-text citations at all, currently (you're looking at the sort section for the bibliography). Are the author guidelines explicit that it should do so? If so, we can update the style.

Thank you for the insight! In the guidelines (https://files.taylorandfrancis.com/ref_fwep.pdf) it says:

"References or citations should be indicated ALPHABETICALLY within the text (e.g. Jones
2000; Smith and Jones 1999), separated with semi-colon, no comma before year."
