Zotero7-beta flatpak crashes on every use of LO zotero plugin

I am running an up-to-date Fedora 40 Silverblue system, utilizing wayland.
I installed the latest flatpak version of libreoffice (24.2.3.2) and the latest flatpak-beta version of Zotero7 (7.0.0-beta.79). I then manually installed the zotero plugin for libreoffice and restarted both zotero and libreoffice.
Every time I try to utilize the plugin in LO, zotero crashes silently.
Restarts did not help. This happened both in a fresh new document and documents already containing zotero references.

After uninstalling Zotero7-beta, installing the Zotero6 flatpak and re-installing the LO plugin, everything works as it should.

Is this a known 7-beta problem, possibly related to flatpak?

    You’d have to report this to the Flatpak maintainer. We don’t have anything to do with it.

    We do not provide support for flatpak version of Zotero, you should contact the maintainers if you want these issues addressed. The official Zotero tar works fine with LibreOffice. The LibreOffice 24 release has seen quite a few new bugs which sometimes interfere with Zotero. We recommend running LibreOffice 7.

    For the future, however, may I suggest you consider officially maintaining a flatpak version of zotero? Since more and more users are choosing to use immutable linux distributions, the requests for a flatpak version, I assume, will only increase in number.
