Zotero wont let me add Citations in word

Hey, I am new to Zotero. So I dont know how to troubleshoot this problem. Zotero worked perfectly fine until today. For some reason I cant add any Citations anymore. I am using Zotero 6.0.36 and Microsoft Word. I can select an reference from my library in Zotero but it wont do anything in Word. Maybe someone can gice me some guidance on this problem? thank you!

    Restart Zotero and Word, and attempt to add a citation. If a citation window does not appear, look through open Zotero windows (there may be multiple) for the citation dialog.
