iOS zotero app force re-sync

Hi,
I have recently started using zotero on Ipad (main reason for Ipad vs. Android tablet was zotero app, because I want to use it mainly for reserach papers reading, notes etc). I have finally (after lot of pain) successfully connected to my NAS via webdav. It works fine, but I have problem with my laptop, where 90% of attachements were added to zotero. Now, new attachements added on Ipad sync to my NAS and I have all previous attachements downloaded using different webdav server. Can I force Ipad to upload all of them to my current webdav server? There is no button for deleting sync history. Or is it possible to just copy folder from one server to another (I mean, I can do that, but will it work with zotero?)
Thanks for your reply and for your work
(zotero is literally saving my sanity every day)
  • You can just copy the 'zotero' folder (or its subfolders) on the WebDAV server, yes.

(But I guess we do need to add Reset File Sync History on iOS for this reason.)
  • @flower-go: Oh, but the iOS app actually should automatically reupload any attachments you have locally if you change from Zotero Storage to WebDAV. Possible it doesn't do it currently if you just change the WebDAV URL, but we'll fix that.
  • Yes, it does not do that automatically. So it is just a bug and will be fixed? Great. How long will it take approximately? I can use Zotero without syncing for now, if it is for something like month.
    Thanks a lot

I gave you two ways to address this now above: you can copy the WebDAV folders or you can change the file-sync settings and then change them back. You don't need to wait for a fix.
