I just wonder whether it is possible to write comments in a PDF file using LaTeX syntax and display the results. It is probably not a very common demand, but sometimes I may want to comment on a PDF file with some mathematical expressions. If I write in plain characters, it is not so easy to read.
Is it possible to do so in Zotero or any other programs?

The discussion you provided is a useful tool. But what I'm seeking is not a way to convert an image to LaTeX codes, but to write comments in LaTeX syntax and generate the comments with mathematical formulas. Is it possible?
