Zotero Slowed down

I am currently writing my dissertation and use Zotero every day. Recently, I have noticed a significant decrease in performance, with Zotero taking an unusually long time to respond to basic tasks such as importing new items, conducting a search, or scrolling down in a PDF (I have tried not opening multiple PDFs simultaneously). Between each step, I see the rainbow icon turning at least for 30-45 seconds, breaking the flow of my work. 
I am a Mac OS user with an M2 2022 model and 16GB RAM. My iOS is up to date. I am using a desktop Zotero, which is the 6.0.37 version. 
I would appreciate it very much if you could give me a hint about the problem or what I can do to change it. Thanks!

    Start by disabling all third-party plugins. So Zotero 6 hasn't significantly changed in months (all current development is on the Zotero 7 beta), so nothing would've changed in Zotero to affect this.

    If it still happens with all plugins disabled, we'd want to see a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing a couple of these slowdowns, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.
