Field in OpenOffice don't stop

Hello,

There is a little problem with OpenOffice: when I insert a footnote (Chicago style), the field don't stop! When I want to introduce after the field, for example, ", pp. 10-20 etc. etc." all these words remain inside the field. The problem is that when I refresh, they disapear...
