Upgrade StorageZotero is reformatting all of my citation numbers
Trying to add edits from reviewers. They wanted us to include 3 new articles to our sample. This involves adding these to the bibliography and citing them at various points in the paper. Now when I go to add the citation of one of the new papers, Zotero completely changes all of my citation numbers and the bibliography order. For example what was once citation 1 and appears first in the paper is now cited as 44.
Why are the new citations not being added as they appear in order in the paper, and then just adjusting the citation numbers that come after by increasing by one number?

adamsmithThat would be the expected behavior. Which citation style and are you using tracked changes or citations in tables (both of which could mess with numbering)
