Notero: retroactive uploading of Zotero citations to Notion database possible?

Hi! I've recently downloaded the Notero plugin to make my thesis literature research easier. I've been working on my thesis for a few months now, so I already had a few collections and subcollections in Zotero with notes for some articles. Now, I've downloaded Notero and clicked which collections to sync to the Notion database. But it only works when I add new documents and websites to Zotero after having made the download, it doesn't upload any of the previous citations I had saved into Zotero in the past months, so not retroactively. Is there anything to do about that?
