[Zotero 7 Beta Bug Report] consistent error when syncing

I've had this error pop up consistently when using Zotero 7 Beta:
Component returned failure code: 0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsICryptoHash.updateFromStream]

Today I took the plunge and switched to syncing through the Zotero service from Webdav in order to take advantage of the Beta 7 on my android tablet, after only testing the app without the reader and file syncing functionality for a couple of months.

I'm not sure whether this error is related, but I'm experiencing an issue where some of my highlights are not synced to the android app. When I sync the app, I get 8 errors, but the only message I see is "Unknown error".

Could this be related?

I submitted a bug report on my laptop, running the binary downloaded from the website on Linux.
